Yesterday had some CIP hours with the class. Quite fun actually, but the organisation structure can be improved. WE cleared up some weeds, and in the process, one got hurt on the finger, me got REAL soil in my shoes, and snails got their habitat destroyed. Nevertheless, it was a FUN and MEANINGFUL day...
While we interacted with some of the elderly people, I got a chance to listen to a old lady sing. Quite funny siah, she keep singing the same thing, with occasional switch in songs. I am totally amazed by how she managed to sing for such a long time; and after each song she'll ask," Hao Ting Ma?" And when your reply is a ,"Hao" and a WEEE smile...she'd also show her brightest smile to you. So nice to see her smile. Hope she does that more often =) And I heard from one of the old uncle that he's all ALONE now in the home, without his relatives and closed ones...quite sad siah... *sobx. Hope that all of them will have a nice and happy time at the home. (though is quite difficult...)
After the visit the class of 14 people went to West Mall to eat. After eating went to walk walk around, and then left the place. The "xiao wan mian" at Lam's noodles was great! so many ingredients! =) worth the $$$
