As I sat down to do my homework. I felt the INTENSE heat on my skin surface. Couldn't concentrate at all. And my mood swang 180 degrees. Felt so irritated and angry at stuffs. I wanted to SCREAM. (effects of Global Warming)On the day before the physics test, came across a human being making some predicitions using palmistry. Tio "predicted" by this man. Recommended that I should stay single cos I only stay with a guy only for $$$$$$, just because I had 'so CALLED' triangular eyes. Wow. nice one. imagine the aunties and uncles looking at me. Now i'm famous.I HATE PASAR MALAMS
Maybe because of the environment that I grew up in, sometimes it sucks to have that feeling that all of your friends going overseas, having their material wants being satisfied by their parents. I know happiness aint measured by material wealth. I know it's a microscopic viewpoint. But having to see such barbaric, uncaring, disrespectful behaviour being displayed, with the trouble of having to worry if you have enough to spend, I guess it's hard to ignore.
Let's say you're a typical Chinese woman. From young, you hadn't received much education, say, only till secondary level in a Chinese School. Went through the same thing as a typical woman in the 70s, got married, had three kids. However, you had to pay for YOUR own medical bills, not some cheapo hospital, but some hospital in Orchard Road cos you heard the expertise is good there. Add that to the milk powder bills, daily neccessities and the kids schooling fees, though you HAVE A HUSBAND. May I ask where is that nice guy? Typical Singaporeans will say that the guy went to fool around, ran away, shirk resposibilities...etc. True to a large extent. That guy didn't have much education either, even of lower standards than the woman. But it's perplexing how that guy still wanted to change jobs so frequently, because "he couldn't get along with colleges". Now, he's a cleaner. And the woman took up a typical job of a factory worker.
The three kids have grown up, now still studying, and the fees still paid by the woman. But they have learnt to apply for financial assistance. Another problem is that whenever the household apply for some assistance, the guy still hesitates to take out his identification for verification purposes. So how would you feel if you were:
i) that woman
ii) the eldest kid? [8 marks]
(lol, GP AQ)Chances are, in this globalised and modern society, the woman will choose to divorce that guy and the kids will hate their dad. But in this context, the woman didn't.
So given a chance, most modern woman would choose a trustable guy with a stable income and some conscience. Who, in this present society in Singapore, would choose a guy with unstable income, living off his mum&dad, bad temper, and whatever negative traits?
Maybe I'm in the wrong to have triangular eyes in the first place.
