Today, as usual, woke up with a i-dont-want-to-go-to-work kind of attitude and laid in bed...
was looking at my handphone for that while. i guess some1 made a promise to call but didnt.Then woke up, washed up, changed and got ready for work. Was quite late, thus accidentally slamming the door when I walked out.In the bus, I was still looking at my handphone. When I arrived at the MRT station, I gave up hope to wait for that call while I ran frantically to catch the oncoming train. When I arrived at the bank, surprised to see almost everyone there...though I reached around the same time as I always do. But there's no empty seat, so my college and I had to go to the other side to call. Calling...Calling. "Hello, may I speak to XXX? I'm Yi Qi calling from Citibank..." Met with some irritating customers, so nice customers who promised to pay and wished me a happy new year. Lunch is okay too. Went to this restaurant with 6.90 Jap set meal. That's one hour off my salary. But lunch today was better than the past...at least I got to talk. Sounds quite pathetic though.
After sometime that we started eating...Collegue1: Hmmm, so how you going to spend your new year's eve? (looks at me)
Me: Oh...I think i'm staying at home...(wants to elaborate but mind says no)Collegue2: Oh...Yi Qi is like an old auntie now...(jokingly)
*I didnt take taht as an offence, cos I know she's joking*(at the back of my mind I was thinking, ya, true. I'm really very old already...)Collegue1: How about your boyfriend?
Me: Oh, he's spending it with his friends. Collegue2: Why not you join him? Get to know his friends as well...
Me: ( mind says: I dont really go for such parties with ppl whom I dont know)Me: But i think most of the are girls. (I REALLY REGRET SAYING THIS)Collegue1: HUH!?! You're really a secure person.
Collegue2: All the more you should go lor...if not ____________.Collegue1: Ya, if I were you, I'll go along.
Me: uh...okay...i'll go then... (haix...)Collegue2: But he got invite u also? Me: (not very sure, but says this to save face) Ya, he did, but i rejected. ***Then my collegues kept telling me to join him***Thereafter came alot of talk on guys and how insecure gals can get with their guys...most of it I think is quite true. To think I thought I'm the only one who feels like that... And they're more 'controlling' over their guys than I am. lol. That why I often say, dont get your girl jealous over some other women. she'd give you hell.After work collegues 1&2 reminded me to go to the countdown with him, if not they'd not talk to me and not lunch with me liao. I understand their intentions, but in my opinion, I would feel awkward if I went._________________________________________________________After work I called my boyfriend, who said that he's sleeping and just woke up not long ago... then after a *long silence*, he said that he's going to bathe now and will call back later...And after a lot of "no need"s, I finally said..."We see how lar"Took the train back and reached lakeside within 45 mins...throughout the whole journey I am still looking at my phone, wondering what kind of bath is that guy taking that made him not call me even after such a long time. Reached lakeside and mind says to take a gamble to his place, who knows, he might call when I'm just outside his doorstep. BUT ALAS(this phrase always used in compos), he didnt and I bought some fries from the coffeeshop nearby and went home. Walked through the pasar malam to my place, I found a nice spot and sat down. Called my boyfriend again. Asked him why he's taking such a long bath. His reply was, you say no need call so i didnt call mah...
***Right now, for all the guys, you'd think: Ya what, nothing wrong.
BUT for the women: Shit. Dead meat***I thought the same as most women/deemed childish girls would think. If I say not to call you wouldn't call. If I said not to watch soccer/play mahjong would you have done the same?But i understand that most guys would reckon that I am unreasonable and my boyfriend did the right thing. I knew that too, that's why I told him okay lor...bye bye. And hung up. And he said wcb(will call back) when he's going out later on. Me: no need already.Back home is again the drama thing again. Cry and wept and hailed and sobx. And got my boyfriend so fustrated that he wanted to cancel his appt today. Thank you for reading this very-the-long-post. I'm feeling better now.
Watch out for the next post coming in 3 hours time. (;
